OVERVIEW:
We are a dynamic Service Provider to the Pharmaceutical industry and we are rapidly growing.  As we continue to develop opportunities in Europe, we seek to continue to ensure that we have people that can develop and manage our invaluable clients.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Business Development position is a vital link between our technical team and our clients. We seek a highly motivated individual, with a proven track record working in the Pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a service provider environment.  

You must have at least 1 years’ experience and have the contacts and ability to develop new business for us in a variety of ways.  You must be organised, prepared to travel, work unusual hours when necessary and be able to work and adapt to modern IT systems that we operate, including a dynamic CRM system.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding that you are the face of the company at all time and in all situations.
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts maintaining good relationships with clients.
  • Constantly seeking new prospects to call and following up leads. Qualifying prospects and pipeline management.
  • Achieve all internal training processes.
  • Adherence to Arriello Quality Management System (QMS). Following documented procedures when carrying out a process which has been standardized, documented and approved.
  • Communication of feedbacks from customers. Discover and handle concerns from customers.
  • Constructively handle all customer complaints related to your portfolio. Using contacts and networking to generate new business and unveil new areas of opportunities.
  • Engaging in project management duties by providing with all necessary information from client side.
  • Meeting sales targets fixed by Sales director per quarter or other period of time.
  • Prepare in advance and attend to regular sales meetings.
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations that meet the company price’s list and calculating the margin for every project. For projects of particular nature costs are to be estimated by experienced project manager before preparing the quotation.
  • Representing Arriello at relevant industry events, delivering sales presentations.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Advertise and sell products and services of the company to current and perspective customers. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers.
  • Generating business by prospecting, setting up meetings and attending them in person.
  • Receiving and answering calls and emails from the clients or client service units in relation to the clients’ requests or questions. Creating detailed proposal documents (request for information, request for quotation, etc.), often as part of a formal bidding process.
  • Negotiating terms of contracts including payment terms. Contract preparation according to Arriello selling prices and margin calculation. Completing administrative work, as required.
  • Recording sales and order  information and sending copies to the sales office, and entering into the computer system. 
  • Dealing with clients on the financial matters and, when required – outstanding invoices.
  • Make preparations of presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Liaising and working closely with other departments when preparing the contract. Developing and maintaining a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers within the organization.
  • Attending events.

Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or Life Science

Post graduate qualification in a relevant scientific discipline
