OVERVIEW:
We are a dynamic, rapidly growing, Service Provider of Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs & Pharmacovigilance consultancy/services.  Our clients are global, as are our abilities to deliver.

As we continue to develop opportunities, we seek to continue to ensure that we have people that can develop and manage our commercial team.  It is for this reason that we are now seeking a Sales Director that can lead and coach the existing team and grow it.

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual, with a proven track record working in the Pharmaceutical industry in either a Service Provider or CRO.  You must be experienced, enthusiastic and determined and proven in leading a BD team in the Pharmaceutical Services space, whether that be from a CRO or a Service provider.

You must be organised, prepared to travel, work unusual hours when necessary and be able to work and adapt to modern IT systems that we operate. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Understanding that you are the face of the company at all time and in all situations.
  • Leading by example.
  • Managing a team of people that will require coaching, training and mentoring.
  • Looking for opportunities, working with Marketing and the CEO.
  • Meeting sales targets set by the company.
  • Setting budgets for the department.
  • Attending and reporting at bi-weekly Management Meetings.
  • Assisting the team in preparing proposals and signing off approval.
  • Use of CRM – setting targets and managing pipeline.
  • Working directly with clients where required.
  • Representing Arriello at relevant industry events, delivering sales presentations.
  • Working with Marketing to make preparations of presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Liaising and working closely with other departments when preparing the contract. Developing and maintaining a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers within the organization.
  • Attending events.

  • High commercial compliance levels
  • No preventable cause for customer complaints
  • Meeting the milestones and deadlines in accordance to quality and time.

Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or Life Science

Post graduate qualification in a relevant scientific discipline
